Son of Harry Fisher Adkins and Dollie Martha Hoverter Adkins.

Everett, who resided at 300 East Fourth Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private First Class with the 133rd Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division, Medical Attachment, U.S. Army, during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on October 22, 1942 in Camden, New Jersey and was noted as being employed as a Welder and as Single, without dependents.

He was "Killed In Action" in a battle against German Troops near Salerno, Italy.

He had served in the Army for two years and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
