Son of Leo Bourn and Martha Parish Bourn. Brother of Lloyd Bourn, Ruth Points and Mardelle Elliot.
Mr. Bourn served as sheriff of Morgan County, Illinois from 1946 to 1950. He was an agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigations from 1950 to 1956 and an Illinois State Trooper from 1958 to 1962. After his career in public service, he worked in the home building and remodeling business until his retirement.
