Radie Ann Floyd, 84, of Benton, died June 26, 2009. She was born December 2, 1924, in Newport, Arkansas to the late Tone and Imogene Wilbanks. Radie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Benton and retired from the City of Benton Utilities Department. She loved to read and taught many how to read. Radie loved to travel and saw much of the world.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald E. Floyd and brothers Carl Hardy and Walter Hardy.
Survivors, son, Tony Floyd and wife, Belinda, daughter, Donna Gattin and husband, Don, Sr., grandchildren, Don Gattin, Jr. and Leigha Jones and husband, Cody.
Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be Monday, June 29 at 10:00 a.m. with George McCoy and Bill Cato officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
