A Shreveport man faces first-degree murder charges in the shooting deaths of three brothers.
Caddo Parish authorities have arrested Marcus Donte Reed, 33, in connection with the deaths of Jerimiah, Jarquis and Jean Adams. The three, ages 20, 18 and 13, were found dead inside a Chevy Malibu late Monday night.
Jean Adams, the youngest, was a student at Youree Drive Middle School and the Caddo Parish school system's Academic Recovery and Career Discoveries Center.
Jerimiah Adams graduated from Huntington High School in 2008.
Deputies responding to reports of gunfire in the 9600 block of Keatchie-Marshall Road about 10:30 p.m. found the three, who had been shot multiple times.
Investigators are looking into reports that another person was shot.
"One witness said there could be a fourth victim, but we haven't been able to locate another person or confirm that," Chadwick said. "However, we haven't ruled it out."
The vehicle was parked outside of a residence in which authorities have since obtained a search warrant for. They recovered an assault weapon from the scene, but it's unknown if it was used in the shooting
Authorities have worked through the night looking for evidence and possible witnesses to the shooting. They remain on the scene this morning and have detained several people for questioning.
