GARY W. CLINE
Gary W. Cline, 57, of 370 Schollsville Road, husband of Connie Pasley Cline, died at 12:59 a.m. Tuesday at his home.
A native of Clark County, he was the son of Grover Cline of Clay City and the late Ethel Burns Cline. He was a farmer, a retired Lexmark employee, a member of Northside Baptist Church, and a member of the Disabled American Vets. He also served as a sergeant in the United States Army, was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and the recipient of the Purple Heart.
Additional survivors include one son and daughter in law, Chad and Erica Cline of Clark County; one daughter, Shannon Cline of Lexington; two grandchildren, Landon Garrison Cline and Hudson Michael Cline; two brothers, Walter Cline and Ricky Cline, both of Clark County; one sister, Vicki Cline Raney of Lexington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Jesse Kline. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be L.C. Mastin Jr., Donnie Pelfrey, Russell Wilson, Richard Crouch, Othel Crowe Jr., Fred Baker, Earl Allen Pasley and Doug Means; honorary pallbearers will be Connie Everman Pasley, Amy Pasley and Jackie Crouch.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391.
