Russell D. Naslund, 67, 448 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, died Friday, Dec. 9, in Sherman Hospital, Elgin. He was born March 1. 1910, in Crystal Lake, the son of William G. and Edith Roselle Naslund., On Sept 19, 1940, In Crystal1 ' Lake, he married Jeanne Mead, who survives. He was a building contractor; member of Trinity Alumni Association; and minister of Advent Christian denomination; Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Deborah) Schulz, Crystal Lake; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Margaret) Mavis, and a brother, William (Glen) Naslund, both of Crystal Lake. Services were held at 11 a jn. today In the Warner and Flagg funeral home, Crystal Lake, with burial in Union cemetery, Crystal Lake. Russell was the great-grandson of Israel Israelsson Näslund III, (1796-1858) the 18th Assistant Vicar of Torsåker, Sweden and later the Vicar in Ytterlännäs, Hede and Torsåker, Sweden who died of smallpox.
