W. A. ALLENSWORTH
W.A. Allensworth, 75, a retired, self-employed trucker, died Monday at his home.
Born in Kentucky, he had lived in Blytheville most of his life. He was a member of the First United Petecostal Church and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Staten Allensworth of the home; One son, Aubrey Allensworth of Newark; Four daughters, Mrs. Sue Lomax of Blytheville, Mrs. Faye Vaughn of Fort Smith, Mrs. Audrey Molica of Memphis and Mrs. Linda Blue of Dardanelle; Two stepdaughters, Mrs. Joann Minton of Jonesboro and Mrs. Patricia Lyles of Trumann; Three brothers, George Allensworth of Osceola, Earl Allensworth of Joiner and Clyde Allensworth of West Memphis; Two sisters, Mrs. Nellie McCanlee of Kentucky and Hazel Allensworth of Hollywood, Calif.; And 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Cobb Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Sam Frank officiating, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
