"Mrs. Glennie I. Bechtold, thirty-eight years old, died Tuesday afternoon at the Huntington County Hospital where she had been removed a week ago Sunday.
Mrs. Bechtold was taken ill about five weeks ago and her illness became so serious that she was removed to the hospital. Death was caused by pneumonia and a weak heart.
Mrs. Bechtold was born May 6, l88l to Adam and Mary Elsea, in Hancock County, Ohio. When twenty-one years of age, she was married to Conrad Bechtold, February 23, 1902.
She is survived by her husband and ten children, Grace, Vera, Merlyn, Leah, Kenneth, Ruth, Howard, Therom (Theron), Imolene and Helen. One daughter, Retha V. is deceased.
Three sisters, Mrs. Roland Brubaker, in Ohio, Miss Lulu Elsea, South Whitley, and Mrs. Esta Yocum also survive.
Mrs. Bechtold had always lived in the vicinity of Bippus and was a member of the St. Paul's (Peter's) Lutheran church near that place. The funeral arrangements have not been made.
