Funeral for Charles Homer Garber, 46, who died Sunday at the home of his brother, Paul, in Dayton was held Tuesday afternoon at an Eaton funeral home, followed by burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery at Lexington. Death resulted from an illness of more than two years.

Son of Silas J. Garber and the late Mrs. Garber, he was born near Lewisburg, and had spent most of his life in Preble County.

Survivors, besides the father, are three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Wolfe of West Alexandria, Mrs. Blanche Miller of Dayton and Mrs. Albert Marker of Eaton, and three brothers, Paul of Dayton, John of Brookville and Claude of Gallipolis.

The Garber family lived in the Lewisburg community for many years.
