"My father had an uncle, Benjamin [Bartow Bee] Cohen, who owned and operated a factory in Sheffield, Alabama for making cast iron wood-burning kitchen stoves. Uncle Bee, as he was known to us, traveled throughout the south selling his stoves. I recall that my father [living in Brookhaven, MS] ordered a new kitchen stove for my mother from Uncle Bee. I was impressed by the fact that it contained a heating coil that would heat water in a tank that stood behind the stove and thus provided hot water for baths."
