Carolyn Ann Bergeron LeCompte,60,a native and resident of Houma, diedat 5:17 a.m. Monday,Oct. 5,1998.She is survived by her husband,Jasper Joseph LeCompte;one son,Scott LeCompte of Houma;two daughters,Terry Dincher and Toni Hebert,both of Houma;one brother,Lawrence Bergeron of Houma;two sisters,Bonnie Telano of Marrero,and Norma Duplantis of Houma; and eight grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents,Lawrence and Velma Trahan Bergeron;and one grandchild, Jamie Fincher.
CORRECTION:Information provided by the funeral home for Oct. 5 Courier omitted the following names from the obituary of Carolyn A. Bergeron LeCompte.She is survived by her stepfather,Rufus A. Trahan sr.;and five stepsisters,Shirley Bourg,Lolita Ellis,Elda McIntyre,Elaine Rhodes and Kitty Babin.She was preceded in death by one stepbrother,Rufus "Pappy" Trahan Jr.
