She was born May 22, 1957 in Torrance, CA to Richard and Caroline Rose Kaberie Goldsberry. Anita earned a B.A. in Special education from Buena Vista University, and worked for SIEDA and the Department of Social Services as a Family Development Specialist.
Surviving are her companion of 21 years, Ronald Joseph Wilson; two daughters, Rebecca"Becca"Aguilar of Fremont and Felicia Elizabeth Aguilar of Newport Beach, CA; three step-sons, Curtis(Kayla)Wilson of Albia, SGT Matthew(Sasha)Wilson of Ft. Campbell, KY, and SSG Michael(Tiffany)Wilson of New Mexico; two grandchildren, Alyse "Pumpkin" Shotten and Silas Shotten; three step-grandchildren, Jax Robert Wilson, Bryson Sipes and Thomas Sipes; three sisters, Carla(Knut)Lukat of San Diego, CA, Crystal(Denny)Hawkes of Colorado Springs, CO and Wendy(Kurt)Meyer of Mission Viejo, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a step-granddaughter, Haylee Wilson.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 3 pm Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Hornback officiating. The family will be at the funeral home from 1-3 pm Saturday. Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society, Ottumwa, IA. or Hospice of Davis and Wapello Counties, Ottumwa, IA.
