Evelyn Eleanor Davis (July 11, 1921 - November 12, 2011) Evelyn Davis, 90, of Itasca, an angel on earth, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, November 12, 2011. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday 11/14/2011 at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home. Service will be 11/15/2011 at 2 p.m. First Presbyterian Church, Itasca. Evelyn was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church of Itasca and also a member of Communication Workers of America and Hillsboro Business Women's Club. She worked with Meals on Wheels and retired from SWB in 1992. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Davis Sr.; two brothers Travis Braley and D. L. Braley; one sister, Lurline Wilson; parents, Eugene and Nannie Braley; one daughter, Glenda Ray Davis; and one granddaughter, Katherine Renee Davis. Evelyn is survived by: two sons, William E. (Eddie) Davis Jr. and wife, Terri, of Itasca and Travis Braley (Toby) Davis and wife, Laura Michelle, of Grandview; two daughters, Bettye Eugenia Myers of Lorena and Susan Diane Knapek and fiancé, Louie Webie, of West; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
