Mary was married June 1879 in Ohio to Francis Monroe Jadwin, born about 1858 in Ohio (1880 census) and died 19 Dec 1926 in Ohio, and had two children - George Thomas, born about 1880 and Harry Francis, born 13 March 1888 in Ohio. (

She was married in Glouster, Athens, Ohio on 16 October 1894 to Francis Grimble Steadman, born 31 August 1843 in Glouster, Athens, Ohio, and had one daughter, Anna Letitia Steadman, born 21 September 1897 in Glouster, Athens, Ohio. Francis was a coal miner and died in March 1922 in Hartford, Sebastian, Arkansas. (

She married George F. Bean/Bain, born about 1858 in Missouri, about 1908 in Hartford, Sebastian, Arkansas. (1910 census)

She married before 1930 Martin S. Cave, born about 1866 in California (1930 census), who preceded her in death. (Oregon Death Certificate #189)

Mary died at the Oregon State Hospital in Salem where she had been for the last nine months of her life. She died of terminal bronchiopnuemonia due to cerebral arteriosclerosis. She had resided in Oregon since 1930. (Oregon Death Certificate #189)

Her parents are Justice L Blaney and Anna Cope. Mary's siblings are Sarah, b. abt 1851; John L., b. abt 1855; and Emma, b. abt 1864 (1870 federal census, Brush Creek, Muskingum, Ohio)
Mary Elizabeth Cave Passes Away at Salem
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Cave, 82, well-known resident of Roseburg, died suddenly last Saturday at Salem. She was born at Zanesville, Ohio, May 25, 1861, and had made her home in Roseburg since 1937, coming here from Los Angeles.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter, George Jadwin, Orosi, Calif., Harry jadwin, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Anna White, Dillard, Oregon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Douglas Funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. C. A. Edwards officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow in Civil Bend cemetery.
