1894 Feb 22 Vevay Reveille "Probate Cause No 241-In the Circuit Court of Switzerland County, Indiana, March Term, 1894. George W. Land, Administrator of Estate of Lorenzo W. Hinman vs. George W. Hinman et al. To Georgia A. Hinman, Lilly Hinman, and Joanna Hinman: You are hereby notified that the above named petitioner, as Administrator of the state aforesaid, has filed in the Circuit Court of Switzerland County, Indiana a petition making you defendant thereto, and praying therein for an order and decree of said court authorizing the sale of certain Real Estate belonging to the estate of said decedent, and is said petition described, to make assets for the payment of the debts and liabilities of said estate; and that said petition, so filed and pending, is set for hearing in said Circuit Court at the court house in Vevay, Indiana on the 7th judicial day of the March Term, 1894, of said Court, the same being the 2nd day of April, 1894. Witness, the Clerk and Seal of said court, this 6th day February, 1894 W.C. Benedict Clerk. February 8, 1894 W.D. Ward Attorney."
1895 Oct 21 "Guardianship of Lorenzo D. Hinman Et al. Alonzo McClellan Guardian-It appearing to the satisfaction of the court that said guardian has made no report in said guardianship since his appointment. It is now ordered that a citation issue for said guardian requiring him to appear and make report herein as required by law"
1895 Oct 25 "In the matter of the guardianship of the minor heirs of Joseph A. Hinman, deceased. Alonzo McClellan gua.-Partial report-Comes said guardian and submits his partial report herein reading as follows to wit: State of Indiana Switzerland County, ss. Switzerland Circuit Court, October term 1895-Guardianship of minor heirs of Joseph A. Hinman dec'd-Alonzo McClellan guardian of said minors would report to the court that nothing has come to his hands as such guardian. That he took out letters for the purpose of presecuting a claim for a pension for said wards but that the same has not yet been allowed. That he is diligently prosecuting the same and he is informed by his attorney that there is a reasonable prospect of the allowance of the same and he asks said matter to be continued. Alonzo McClellan subscribed and sworn to before me this 25th day of Oct 1895. W.C. Benedict clerk. and the court having seen and examined said report approves the same. And it is further ordered by the court that the costs occasioned by the citation issued be paid by said Alonzo McClellan out of his own individual funds."
