Services will be conducted at Centuries Funeral Home Chapel for Betty Jo Carroll Ebey, age 80 of Shreveport, La. on Friday May 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Carlton Gilmer of Central Assembly assisted by Rev. Richard E. Hainey of Countryside Christian Church. Interment to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Ebey entered into rest on Wednesday May 24, 2006 at the Garden Park Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of the Choctaw Tribe of Caddo, Ok. and a life long resident of Shreveport. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanton and Kathleen Carroll and a brother, Stanton Carroll, Jr.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Craft and husband Ronnie of Haughton, La., Laverne B. Baronette of Shreveport, La., Billie Mack and husband Tony of Benton, La.; one son, Pete Patterson, Jr. and wife Donna of Blanchard, La.; one sister, Laura Carroll of Shreveport, La.; two brothers, Jimmy Carroll and wife Mary of Durant, Ok., and Jimmy Saintignan and wife Jean of Greenwood, La.; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and her two dogs, Crabbey and Tinker.
