Mrs. Frances J. Deas

North Augusta, SC Entered into rest Sunday, January 1, 2012, Frances J. Deas, 81, wife of Harold A. Deas.

Mrs. Deas was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. She was a native of Millen, GA but lived in Augusta for the past 50 years, and retired from Curtis Baptist School where she was a school bus driver for over 20 years. Frances was a homemaker, and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Family members include: her husband and son: Art Deas and wife Tammy, grandchildren: Daniel, Taylor, Kelly and Heather Deas, sister: Isabelle Moxley. Mrs. Deas is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Dixon, and parents: Edith and Charlie Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Sandra Lieghtner officiating. Intombment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Leonard Moxley, Lamar Dixon, Butler Thorne, Eddie Writer, Daniel Deas, and Drew Hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to: St. James United Methodist Church, 439 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
