He was the son of Fredrick Amil Baker and Mattie Mae Rich.

Earl Baker was the youngest son - # 13 of 17 children.

He received a Purple Heart after being severely wounded in WW II.





He married Melissa Irene Adams on May 4, 1946 in Columbus, Cherokee Co, Kansas.
