~Rev. Donald M. Orand~
Born on July 6, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas, and raised in Abilene, Texas, Rev. Donald M. Orand, 61, beloved husband of Margaret, Pastor, Prophet, and Missionary, entered into his rest on February 27, 2006. When the Spirit of God touched him on Thanksgiving Day, 1980, his new life began. Not only was it a new life in this world but it was a supernatural door that was reopened after it had been cracked as a child, being raised in a historic denominational church in the west Texas plains, then held tight shut in a life of rebellion. By the way of Paul at "Damascus" a commission was assigned him by our Lord and in obedience he has preached his Gospel. Bro. Orand ministered 25 years locally and worldwide. He hosted "Meet The Pastor" program on KLTJ-TV22 for over eight years, and served as Senior Pastor of the Church of the Harvest of the Jesus Crusades in Spring, Texas.
The Apostle Paul touched his heart in the writing of 1 Corinthians: "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
This was the Memorial given at Rev. Donald Orand's service.
