He was a prisoner of war at Camps Ford and Groce in Texas during the Civil War. He was paroled at Camp Groce on December 5, 1864 and exchanged at Galveston, Texas on December 12, 1864. He was then conveyed to New Orleans on the steamer Clinton.Follow Ca...(Read more)
