Charles Ferguson Hoey
Birth: Mar. 29, 1914
Death: Feb. 17, 1944

World War II Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Major in the 1st Battalion of The Lincolnshire Regiment. On February 16, 1944, Major Hoey was ordered to lead a company in an expedition near the Ngakyedauk Pas, Burma when suddenly they came under a heavy Japanese attack.
