Wesley Disel Chapman,
age 28, of Williamsburg, Ky. departed this life to be with his Lord, on Monday, January 3, 2005, in Barberville, FL. as the result of an automobile accident. He was joined in his departure by his two beloved children, Levi Auston Garrett and Isabella Celeste Chapman.Wesley D. born on November 1, 1976 in Corbin, Ky, was the son of Pam and Ronnie Chinn and the grandson. of Disel Buhl and the late Geraldine Buhl. He is survived by his devoted wife, Julie Celeste Chapman; parents Pam and Ronnie Chinn and grandfather, Disel Buhl, all of Williamsburg; sisters: Michelle and husband Matthew Ravish of Ft. Myers, Fl., Ann Chapman Walters of Williamsburg; brother Dustin Chinn and wife, April of Williamsburg; aunts, Janice Manning and husband, Conley of Rockholds, Phyllis Patton and husband Ed of Cornelius, North Carolina; nieces, Madison Anderson and Alyssa Chinn; nephew, Blake Walters and cousins, Karen West, husband Brent and son Kyle, all of Williamsburg along with a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.Wesley D. was known throughout the community for his involvement in the ownership and management of Buhl's Chevron Station in Williamsburg. His personal interest were numerous and included maintaining exotic animals like his small herds of buffalo and burros, dealing in real estate, operating several small farms and exploring the world with his family. He was a skilled outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and all aspects of our natural resources. Quick with his warm smile and friendly greeting, he always regarded every individual with kindness and respect. Wesley pushed hard to make all his ventures successful but never allowed his driving ambition and tireless work ethic to interfere with the most important aspect of his life, his relationship with his wife and children. This dedication and love for his family led him to develop all his interest around enriching their lives every hour of every day. He was a very special father, husband, son, grandson, brother, relative and friend, and will be sadly missed by all of us. After attending Williamsburg Elementary and Middle School, Wesley graduated from Whitley County High School in 1996.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 11 AM at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome McCullah, Rev. David Caddell and Rev. Fred Powers officiating. Burial will follow in the Croley Addition, Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 5 PM. Croley Funeral Home of Williamsburg, KY is in charge of arrangements.
