A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, in Newberg United Methodist Church for Hedwig "Hattie" Stang, who died Nov. 12 at age 100.
Hedwig Schaad was born March 11, 1908, in Newberg. She was a customer service representative for Northwest Natural Gas. She married John Stang; he died in 1974.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Rainforth; brother, Loyd Schaad; sister, Miriam Hausth; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
