Served with Co. H 185th Ohio Vol. Inf During The Civil War of 1861-65.
He Came to Nevada in the Early 1870s and Took Many Jobs at that Time from Miner to Night Watchman to the Cook at a Mining camp, That's were he stayed until his Death on July 4th 1898 from an Accidental fall from a Wagon (No he didn't fall off "That Sort" of wagon as he was a T-Totaler) Were He struck his dead and expired at once.
He was Buried with Full Military Honors at The Grand Army of The Republic Gen. Custer Post No. 5 Section of the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City Nevada,
