Mr. Branch was a lifelong resident of Grovetown and a retired farmer and lumberman. He was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Navy and a member of Grovetown United Methodist Church. He was a founder of Grovetown Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Harlem Masonic Lodge.
