ELVIS LEE McGOWAN
Mr. Elvis Lee McGowan, age 77, of Route 5, Russell Springs, died Monday,
June 4, 1984, at his residence.
Mr. McGowan was a farmer and a member of the Pine Grove Separate Baptist
Church.
He was a son of the late William James and Myrtle Wilson McGowan.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Tucker McGowan; one daughter, Mrs. Jackie
Luttrell of Russell Springs; four sons, Ewell McGowan, Ft. Myers, Florida,
Desmond McGowan, Milford, Ohio, Freddie McGowan and Frankie McGowan, both of Russell Springs; one brother, Edgar Wilson, Russell Springs, and one sister,
Flora Stephens, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Thursday, June 7, 1984, 10:00 am
at the Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church, with Bro. Richie Curtis and Bro.
Donnie Coffey officiating. Special music will be presented by Bro. and Mrs.
Roger Popplewell.
Internment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Bernard Funeral Home, Russell Springs, is in charge of arrangements.
