NORTH OGDEN - William Jack Arnold, 57, of 193 A Lomond View Drive, died Saturday, Oct 15, 1977, at the McKay-Dee Hospital of an aneurysm of the aorta. Mr. Arnold was born Oct. 15, 1920, in Morgan, a son of William Henry and Sarah Myrtle Crouch Arnold. On Dec. 23, 1939, he was married to Rudy Anderton in Coalville, Utah. He had been a personnel specialist at Hill Air Force Base, retiring in 1973. He served in the Army in World War II. He had lived in Morgan and Washington Terrace, moving to North Ogden in 1950. He graduated from North Summit High School and attended Utah State University. He was an elder in the North Ogden 9th LDS Ward and had been superintendent and held other positions in the YMMIA and a home teacher. He had been active in scouting for 25 years. He had been a horseman and active in the Junior Posse Organization High School Rodeo and drill master in the Boots and Saddles Riding Club. He had been active in the Utah State Western Riding Club Association. Surviving are his widow of North Ogden and four daughters and one son; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Shirley) Harrison, Ogden. FUneral services will be held Wednesday at 1 P.M. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Wallace Sjoblom of the North Ogden 9th Ward officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment in the Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch. Military honors will be accorded.
