Death: Jan. 2, 1933

Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army in Company L, 4th US Cavalry. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on March 7, 1890 in Arizona. His citation reads "Untiring energy and cool gallantry under fire in a engagement with Apache Indians." (bio by: Don Morfe)
