"On Thursday evening at 8 o'clock Miss Ruby Byrd and Henry Manuel were united in marriage at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Byrd on Charter street. The beautiful ceremony was performed by Rev. Clark. The bride, whose charming brunette beauty was well set off by her gown of white silk crepe de chine, with trim wreath of orange blossoms, which mings(?) of lace and satin, wore a bridal held in place a snowy veil of illusion. Miss Agnes Manuel, a sister of the groom acted as maid of honor and wore a dress of silk trimmed in lace and satin. The other attendant was Irwin Garec, who is a cousin of the groom, and was best man. Among the out of town guests were Mrs. F. D. Manuel of New Orleans. Mr. and Mrs. Manuel will reside on Fayard street. Many friends wish the young couple a happy voyage through life."

"MRS. MANUEL DEAD"
"Mrs. Ruby Manuel, aged 19 years, a native of Ocean Springs, Miss., and a resident of this city for ten years, died at her home in this city yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Deceased is survived by a husband and other relatives, she was well known in this city as well as in Ocean Springs. She was the wife of Henry Manuel. The funeral was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from her late residence, 909 Holly street. Services were conducted by Rev. A. H. Clark, pastor of the First Baptist church, and interment was made in the Biloxi cemetery. Surviving relatives of the deceased have the sympathy of the community in which she lived."
