Printed in Daily Herald on 3/1/1906:
"After an illness of only four weeks Mrs. A. J. Carnibe (sic) died at her home at 427 Washington street yesterday noon. She is survived by her husband and a six week old infant. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence."
Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 1, page 78: Lillian was 17 years, 11 months, 5 days old when she died from pyaemia which is a form of metastic septicaemia caused by a staph infection often associated with child birth. Some doctors considered it a type of childbed fever.
Lillian's baby girl who was named after her mother died on July 8, 1906.
