Obituary from Daily Herald dated Feb. 16, 1908:
"AMELIA LAHR"
"There was brought to the city yesterday afternoon from Mobile the body of Amelia Lahr, wife of Andrea Argiro. Mrs. Argiro died in Mobile at twenty minutes before 2 o'clock yesterday morning. She was a native of New Orleans. Up until about six years ago she had lived nearly all her life in Biloxi. Her mother, Mrs. Mary Bagatella lives in this city at 120 Jackson street and the remains were brought to her mother's house in order that interment might take place in Biloxi near her father and loved ones. Deceased leaves besides her husband and mother, five children and two sisters. The sisters are Mrs. Alvina Thompson and Mrs L. Lucas, both of Biloxi. The funeral will take place at the residence at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon".
