My Great Uncle Jim was born in Naas County Kildare Ireland. He studied at Maynooth College Seminary in Dublin, and was ordained a Priest on June 7 1931. He was a local Parish Priest, until he came to America in 1938. He became the Pastor of the Shrine Of St. Therese in Fresno California, and was elevated to Monsignor in 1950. He served as Pastor of St. Thereses until his death in 1968. He died in San Francisco during heart surgery.
