Raettig, Angela M. Of Cedarburg, Returned to her Father in heaven Nov. 30, 2005, age 17 yrs.
Angela was born on Sept. 13, 1988 in Milwaukee, to Michael and Bonnie (nee DeBroux) Raettig. She attended St. Francis Borgia Catholic Grade School in Cedarburg and was a junior at Cedarburg High School.
Angela best expressed herself through her ballet, tap and jazz, as well as in her poetry and love for music.
Angela is survived by her parents Michael and Bonnie Raettig of Cedarburg; brother Ryan Raettig of Cedarburg; and grandparents Gerald (Barb) DeBroux of Grafton. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents Russell and Pat Raettig.

Funeral services were held Dec. 5 at the Mueller Funeral Home, W63 N527 Hanover Ave. Cedarburg, WI 53012. The Rev. Ed Wawrzyniakowski officiated the funeral service. Visitation was held prior to the service.
Angela was found at her home on November 30, 2005. She died from a heroin overdose from the night before. Her boyfried Ryan J. Hinkle of Cedarburg, Caitlin Schuette of Cedarburg, and Benjamin Stibbe of Grafton were charged with being involved in Angela's death under the Len Bias law. Caitlin is the one who arrange for the purchase, and she was sentenced to two years. Benjamin is the one who sold the lethal dose of heroin; he was sentenced to 18 years. He was also sentenced to 25 years for providing the heroin that caused three other deaths in the area. Angela's boyfriend, Ryan, is the one who injected her with the lethal dose at his apartment injected her at his apartment; he's facing 40 years if convicted.
