Mr. Edward Raymond Casey, age 79, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Raymond Casey and Ellen Ann Outman Casey of Carbon-dale, Pennsylvania. Mr. Casey was born on March 27, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Villanova University and Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pennsylvania. He was a retired Administrative Law Judge from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
He practiced law and served as First Assistant Public Defender and Chief Trial Counsel for the office of the Public Defender in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Casey served in the 2nd Battalion, 32nd Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, Munsan, Korea (38th Parallel) in 1946.
Surviving family members include: Kathleen Casey, wife of 35 years; sons and daughters, Edward R. Casey, Andrew J. Casey, Michael E. Casey, Anne Marie Casey Bongiovi, and Ellen T. Casey Poulin; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Casey was a member of the Prince Of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA, with the viewing at 9: 30 a.m., and the Funeral Mass at 10: 30 a.m., on Monday, February 4, 2008. Private burial in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
