Obituary:
L. Cecil Westfall, 79, of RD 1 Delanson, died yesterday morning at his home after a long illness.

Born in the Town of Wright on October 27, 1890, Mr. Westfall was a member of the Delanson Methodist Church and a trustee of the Grove Cemetery Association of Quaker Street. He was employed for over 20 years at the Gage Stock Farms of Delanson, retiring 15 years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Auchampaugh Westfall; a son, Victor Westfall of Cherry Plain; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Westfall of Albany; two brothers, Omer Westfall of Richmondville and Martin Westfall of Schoharie. Three grandsons, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the White Funeral Home, Delanson, with the Rev. Harry Burdess, pastor of the Delanson Methodist Church, officiating. The funeral home will be open today from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in the Grove Cemetery, Village of Quaker Street.

L. Cecil Westfall, 80, a retired employee of the Gage Stock Farm in Delanson, died Jan 9 at his home after a long illness.

Born in the town of Wright, he lived at RD 1, Delanson.

A communicant of the Delanson Methodist church, he was a trustee of the Grove Cemetery association.

He was employed with the Gage Stock Farm for 20 years retiring 15 years ago. Survivors include his wife, the former Rose Auchampaugh; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Westfall of Albany; a son, Victor Westfall of Cherry Plain; two brothers, Omer Westfall of Richmondville and Martin Westfall of Schoharie, RD 2; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the White Funeral Home, Delanson. Burial will be in Grove cemetery, Quaker Street.
