Martin HACKER, 82, former Forrest resident, died in a Phoenix, Arizona hospital. Mr. HACKER moved to Phoenix with his wife in July of this year. He operated a Grocery store in Strawn, Illinois for a number of years. He was born a son of Henry and Augusta [NESTEIN] HACKER. He was married to Sarah Catherine ROBINSON on 08 August 1898. They divorced and he married Nellie HAYDEN on the 17th of May 1933, at Fairbury. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Rose GOEMBEL, Forrest; Mrs. Veva [Linus] MIES, Terre Haute, Indiana; two stepsons, Joe HAYDEN, New Lenix; James HAYDEN, Curtis, Wisconsin; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary POOL, Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Nellie MONOHAN, Flagstaff, Arizona; a brother Phillip HACKER, Forrest; 20 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Two daughters, Lacine HACKER and Alberta V [Frederick] MIESENHELDER preceded him in death.
