Sgt. U.S. Army {US54803687}, Vietnam War-Sgt. Alles was killed in action while in a support capacity as an Electrician {36C20} with Co. A of the 121st Signal Battalion of the 1st Infantry Division. Sgt. Alles started his tour in Vietnam on June 23, 1967.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. James E. Alles of 8143 South Rutherford Road in Oak Lawn, Illinois, and he enlisted with the Army on 7-22-1966.

Awards: Bronze Star Medal with "V" Device, Purple Heart Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal.
