Winchester- James Butler, 64, RR 4, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995, at his home after a furnace malfunction. His wife of 44 years, Beverly Butler, also died.
He was born March 25, 1931, in Huntington to Frances Mae Hodge and Royal Dean Butler. He was retired from the Air Force and was a retired teacher from Randolph Central School Corporation. He also was a member of the East Street Congregational Church.
Survivors include his mother; two sons, Rob Butler of Winchester and Philip Butler of Union City; two daughters, Cathy Moore of Farmland and Becky Nordyke of Winchester; 12 grandchildren.
Service will be a 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov 7, at the East Street Congregational Church with the Rev. Paul Collins officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Walker Funeral Home.
