Emma Etta LeRette was the daughter of Nicolas and Martha Ellen LeRette. She was married to Nicolaus Frederick Neve and then to Edward E. Leeper who died in 1936.
Mrs Emma Leeper died at Monday at Mercy Hospital following a short illness, she was 70 years of age at the time of her death she lived at 724 S. 6th street.
Survivors include 10 daughters and four sons. They are, Mrs Emma Maria Stansberry, Mrs Dora Martha Garrison, Mrs Bertha Ida Heywood, Mrs Lillie Evangeline Liddick, Mrs Wyona W. A. Lee, Mrs Eleanor B. Dunn, Mrs Zella Genevieve Peterson and Mrs Juanita Starleen Hisel, all of Council Bluffs, Mrs Rose Malvina Sorensen of Santa Monica, California and Mrs Nina Evelyn Falk of Minden. Sons include; August Nicolaus Neve of Peoria, Illinois, Paul Herman Neve of Council Bluffs, Louis Wyland R. Neve of Hollywood, California and Clayton W. W. Neve of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Other survivors include: one sister, Mrs Sam Pritchett of Council Bluffs; two brothers, Charles LeRette of Red Oak and Guy LeRette of Anita, also 62 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs Leeper will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Woodring Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. C.J. Brown of Seventh Avenue Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
