EDGAR A BULLOCK
---Edgar A. Bullock, long time mail carrier on the La Plata rural route, died suddenly at his home in La Plata Monday morning. He was seventy years, seven months and twenty days of age.
---Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church with Revs. Evert Haney and F. L. Hudson the clergymen in charge. Music was furnished by Mrs Darrell Fouch. Bearers were Gene Lewis, T.O. Hulse, Howard Maitland, Harry Williams, Bob Crawford and Raymond Gross. Interment was in the La Plata Cematery.
---Mr. Bullock, son of Andrew and Margaret Lathrow Bullock, was born April 13, 1892 at LaHarpe, Illinois.
---He was married June 6, 1924 to Pearl Roan.
---Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mary Lu Slaughter of La Plata and Janet Lee Bullock of Des Moines, Iowa; two sons, William A. of La Plata and James of Kirksville and six grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
---He was a carrier on the La Plata rural route from 1910 until 1960 when he retired from that position.
---He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Reynolds-Martin Post No. 282, American Legion.
---Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of services.
