Clara L. Huset, 95, Dallas, Wis., died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Knapp Haven Nursing Home, Chetek.

She was born Aug. 17, 1910, the daughter of Anton and Lena Thompson in the Town of Arland, Barron County. On March 9, 1927, she married Oscar Huset.

Clara enjoyed her hobbies of sewing, crocheting, quilting and fishing. She also enjoyed taking care of her houseplants, traveling and watching her many grandchildren participate in sporting events.

Surviving are her sons, Carl (Mary) of Chetek and Donald of Dallas; daughters: Lorraine "Olga" (John) Nielson of Rice Lake, Ilene Gunderman and Luella (Bill) Rogers, both of Chetek; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Huset of Dallas; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1972; a son, Leo; a granddaughter, Deborah Rogers; a son-in-law, Norman Gunderman; a brother; and three sisters.

Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, from Mark Rausch Funeral Home, Dallas, Rev. Ralph Marquardt officiating, with interment at Dallas Cemetery.
