Susannah Brown Devore, is the daughter of Joseph and Barbary brown. She was born in the eighteenth century, during George Washington's second presidential term, lived through the 19th century and into the fourth year of the 20th century.
At Eighteen years old she married Andrew Devore. In 1837 Susan, Andrew and 8 children packed up a wagon and headed to Ohio, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They settled near the point of the intersection of Coshocton, Holmes, and Knox Counties.
