Alberta was the daughter of John Andrew and Amanda Owens Harrison Holland. Her father is buried in Buffalo Cemetery in Leon Co, TX and her mother is buried in Harrison Chapel Cemetery in Freestone Co, TX. Alberta married William Whittier "Will" Wade 14 February 1902 in Buffalo, TX. Her sister, Mattie Dean Holland, married Will's brother, Harmon Allen Wade Sr. Will and Alberta had three children, Margaret May Wade, James Allie "Buddy" Wade, and Ruby Lee Wade. Will died 22 January 1911 and is buried in Mansfield Cemetery. After his death, Alberta married Emil Henry Peters. They were the parents of one son, Emil Alex Peters.
