Deaths and Funerals

DR. O. H. BEST, 58. BARNWELL, DIES HERE

Dr. Orsamus Harding Best, 58 of Barnwell, died early this morning at the Baptist hospital after an extended illness.

Dr. Best, the son of the late Orsamus H. Best and Leonora H. Best, attended the Medical College of South Carolina, Charleston, and graduated in pharmacy from the Southern School of Pharmacy, Atlanta, Ga.

He was the proprietor of Best's pharmacy in Barnwell for a number of years, after which he farmed in Barnwell county.

Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Pauline Richardson; a sister, Mrs. J. W. Vincent, of Union, and a brother, Martin C. Best, of Barnwell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock from the residence in Barnwell.
