Joe Thomas Dugger, son of John Thomas and Ruby Delores Hutson Dugger, was born October 6, 1944, near Hartville, Missour. He departed his life Monday, June 20, 2005, in Hartvile Care Center, in Hartville, Missouri, at the age of sixty years, eight months, and fourteen days.
On December, 20 1969 he was united in marriage to Catherine Ann White, and to this union two daughters were born.
His father , and a sister, Joyce Kay Dugger preceded him in death.
Joe is survived by two daughters, Cindy Harrison and husband Ernie, of Fair Grove, Missouri, and Connie Harrison and her husband, Lind, of Hartville, Missouri; six grandchildren, Tabitha Johnson, Kyle, Tinothy, Bruce, Tyler, and Sabrina Harrison; his mother, Ruby Dugger, of Hartville Missouri; two brothers, Jack Dugger of Springfield, Missouri, and Jerry Dugger of Hartville, Missouri; three sisters, Judy Thompson and Gail McCune, both of Hartville, Missouri, and Janice Long, of Ava, Missouri; a number of neices and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Hartville community and attended Hartville High School. At the age of twenty he entered the United States Army and served his country faithfully for seven years. After being honorably discahrged, he returned to Wright County. HE thatn made his home in Springfield for eighteen years and was empolyed by the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company and Zenith Inc., In 1990, he returned to Hartville and made his home.
Joe professed his faith in Christ and in earlier years had attenede the Red Hill and Sunshine Church's in Wright COunty Missouri. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, reading and watching baseball games. He possessed an kind and loving spirit and always cared for others. His family was very special to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Joe was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments, and will tresure the momories he made for his family and friends.
