DOLAN, Linda Priddy, of Richmond, Va., age 91, passed away on August 29, 2011, at the home of her son, John Michael Dolan III. Linda was born July 31, 1920 in Richmond and was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Dolan Jr.; parents, Garland and Dimple Priddy; sisters, Virginia Lee Priddy, LaVerne Muse; brother, Billy Priddy and daughter-in-law, Dana Dolan.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Jackson, Faye Willard (George Ayers); sons, John Michael and his wife, Hannah, Ed and his wife, Ann, Steve; sisters, Gwen Donohue and Beverly Derr; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years.
Linda was retired from the Defense General Supply Center and was a Charter Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Rd. Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Virginia, 50 N. Lora Street, Suite 1800, Jacksonville, Fla. 32202.
