She was the wife of the late Edward S. Farrell. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Henry V. and Sarah E. (Houston) Brady, she had lived in Warwick for 47 years.
She was a member of the Veridames at Providence College, the Salve Regina Guild, the Marion Motherhood at St. Xavier Academy, the Mothers Club at Bishop Hendricken High School, and the Rosary and Altar Society at St. William Church. Mrs. Farrell was a member of the Rhode Island Democratic Womens Club.
She leaves two daughters, Eileen M. Tally of Coventry and Margaret M. Borkowski of Farmington, Conn.; two sons, E. Stephen Farrell of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Terrance Brady Farrell of Exeter; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. She was the mother of the late Maureen M. Farrell, and sister of the late John V., William A., Frank J., Charles R. and Raymond T. Brady, and Margaret M. Chellel.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in St. William Church, Pettaconsett Avenue. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, East Providence
