Curwensville--James F. Ogden 86, of Curwensville, and formerly of the Woodland area, died Saturday, January 8, 2005, at Altoona Regional Health System. Born December 29, 1918, in Lawrenceville Township, he was the son of Frederick Bishop and Mabel (Williams) Ogden. He was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church. Mr. Ogden was truck driver for Crissman Construction and was an Army Veteran of World Was ll. On September 17, 1942 in Clearfield he we the former Lela M. Woolever, who survives along with a daughter Darlene and her husband Duane Wriglesworth, of Curwensville: two grandsons Duane II and Drew, and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Esther and her husband, Battista Rossi, and Doris Lanich all of Phoenix, Arizona and Erma and her husband, Don Eisenheart, also of Arizona. Mr. Ogden was preceded in death by his parents; a twin sister Helen Ogden; other sisters Verda Thompson, Shirley Spiker and Mildred Grizziano; and a brother Walter. There will be no public viewing and services will be held at the convenienee of the family. Chester C. Childboy Funeral Home Inc.; Curwensville officiating. Interment will be Bradford Cemetery, Woodland. Te family suggests memorial contribution to be made to charity of the donor's choice.
