My dear friend Wendy passed away Sunday Eve. at Hospice in Toledo, OH. We lost a very special lady on this earth but Heavenly Father got a beautiful angel. She was a very good Christian Lady, a special kind of person inside and outside. She and her husband Donald were Foster Parents to over 300 Short term children. Then they started taking in long term children and ended up adopting three of them making their family consist of seven children. She is going to be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She had suffered with cancer for ten years so now she is no longer in pain but with the Lord. She is with her son Ken who preceded her in death, her mother and father, a brother Ronnie plus her very special grandmother who she so loved and missed. She also attended college and got her degree when she was 60 years of age.She worked as a Casa for children, the Crisis Center and I could go on and on of how great and giving of a person she was.
I have so many memories of her and things we did together. I was her neighbor and friend for 38 years.

When I come to the end of my journey
and I travel my last weary mile,
just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
and remember only the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done,
Forget that I ever had a heartache
And remember I've had load's of fun,
Forget that I have stumbled and blundered
and sometimes fell by the way,
Remember I have fought some hard battles
and won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK A VERY SPECIAL PERSON, DARLENE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR SPONSORING MY FRIEND WENDY
