ROOSEVELT, UT -- David Karl Lemon, age 43, of Ioka, died July 12, 1999 in an accident at Lake Powell.
He was born September 8, 1955 in Roosevelt to James Farnsworth and MaDonna Nelson Lemon. He married Peggy Nelson, July 9, 1976 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
David was presently the Transportation Supervisor for the Duchesne County School District and had driven bus for 16 years. He enjoyed work as a farmer and rancher, and was a member of the Duchesne County Cattleman's Association.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, and children, Jennifer, Melanie, Michelle and Dustin, all of Ioka; brothers and sisters, Marcia (Neil) White, Loya (Jim) Nebeker, James N. (Kathleen) Lemon, Lyle (Glenda) Lemon, all of Roosevelt; Neil (Alicia) Lemon, Fort Collins, CO; Lynn (Susan) Lemon, Providence; Sheryl (Craig) Burton, Talmage; DeAnn (Kent) Thomason, Evanston, WY; and Jerry (Elaine) Lemon, of Highland.
Funeral, Friday, July 16th, 11 a.m., at the Myton LDS Church. Friends may call at the Hullinger Olpin Mortuary, Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the Church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Burial in the Ioka Cemetery.
